When he
was working for the University Fester was sometimes required to take part in international
scientific conferences.
I was always
happy to see him go because it gave me a few peaceful nights. Despite this he always came home bearing
gifts.

Have just
packed Fester's bag, waved him off on his trip to Turkey and am looking forward
to a snore-free week.

Fester is
safely back from Turkey, bearing candles, real Turkish Delight, cinnamon
sticks, oregano and other 'treats' to be disclosed when the boys get back from
school.

Fester is
snoring in the bath - fortunately there's no way he can slide under the water
and drown himself.
He's brought me back a bottle of
Bailey's' with a hint of mint' - hmmm - not sure – may be better with ice.
