I went into the kitchen to find Fester with an open cheese sandwich eating piccalilli* from the jar with a spoon. On enquiring why he was eating piccalilli from the jar with a spoon I was told
"That way it can't fall out of the sandwich onto the shirt"

Bentonbag I suppose I should be grateful that he was
a) wearing a shirt and
b) concerned about staining it.
but I think he was more concerned about losing piccalilli
than potential stain removal problems.
