Comings & Goings

That annus horribilis 2012, had us clear Fester’s family home bringing the most treasured and useful furniture up here.  The loft extension led to us buying new beds for the boys and the opportunity to get rid of some stuff well past its best.

Will Fixit has organised 2 lads with a trailer who have taken away all the building rubbish (minus the wood which my neighbour wants for his stove) plus 2 nackered mattresses and a nackered settee.

The only thing is - what will I sit on until we get the chaise-longue up from Sheffield.

Strawangel you can sit on Fester's knee 😉
Bentonbag In his dreams!
Anyway the poor bugger's got enough trouble with high blood pressure and gout.

Matildacat is severely cheesed off that we've got rid of her couch.
Felixcat is cheesed off that he's not allowed to spend the night in the loft with Thunderthighs.

Thunderthighs won't have the door ajar and we don't want Felix trapped and piddling in the corner.

When I went up to fetch him Thunderthighs was putting his laptop away in his bedside stand and slightly bent over.

So Felix leapt onto his shoulders from the bed.

Thunderthighs only had jarmies on so shrieked and stood up.

Whereupon Felix let go and jumped off.

I'm sure it was malicious.

But we did laugh ....

Bess Cavalier Our first cat used to like sitting on my back and shoulders whilst I was bent over washing my hair in the basin!

Bentonbag Lisacat (RIP) had a passion for cheese slices which Fester has for breakfast.

She would scramble up onto his shoulders to greed them off him, irrespective of whether he had a shirt on or not.
The screams always cheered my mornings.
