·Just had a lovely day out at
Beamish with Mrs
Quilt.
It was so nice to wander around at my own pace and look at things
and not have to keep checking that no-body had wandered off,
or was touching/interfering with/breaking/trying to buy something they shouldn't,
or saying something inappropriate within earshot of children,
or rushing off like a shot cock without looking back
leaving me to chivvy Ferretfingers along.
It was also very nice to just get food and eat it:
not have endless discussion about who will or will not eat what,
where we should sit
etc etc.
