I told Ferretfingers
that the reason his Hudl stopped working was because the screen got dirty and
worn out by him cleaning the greasy fingermarks off with tissue paper.
He now
scrupulously and regularly washes his hands with soap and warm water (as opposed to
reluctantly rinsing them under the cold tap).
He then dries them with a hair
dryer so I've had to explain that a towel rubs off the dirt softened by the
soap and water.
OK it was an assumption or small lie, but it's got him voluntarily washing his
hands which can only be a good thing.
In other news I've just paid to
renew Ferretfingers’ Cinema Exhibitors Card which allows us to view films for
less.
The man on the phone said "and on your bank statement it will be shown as
paid to Euclid, as we are the company who make the cards."
"Oh" I said "is that Euclid as in Geometry?"
A chuckled confirmation came from the other end.
I don't think he gets asked that very often.
