Drain Strain

I’m off for a long weekend with Pearl, so don’t expect to see any more blogs before next Wednesday.  In the meantime here’s a twofer, with a link to an older better blog* about the same thing.

Off to unplug the outside drain. Fester has blocked it up with silt sorting his samples in my kitchen.  If it ends up as a Dynorod job he's paying 

(he's currently paying in other ways and will do so for some time).

Strawangel  Silly bugger!

Bentonbag  All done!  Not half as bad as I feared and mostly caused by grass and long hair from the bath.  One of my rubber gloves has died though.

The sewer replacers have reached our drive.   

Pandemonium this morning.   

Digger, tipper lorry, dumper truck, garbage truck then recycling wagon, which drew up as Thunderthighs's taxi arrived, and lastly Ferretfingers' taxi.   

Work has reach number 5 so all the bins from that end of the street wheeled here.   

Thunderous rumblings and clash of glass caddies went on for a good 5 minutes.   

Poor Fester’s rest was quite disturbed!

Miss NB  Going on you previous comment this wasn't set up by you as an ingenious way of paying Fester back for the drain situation was it?

Strawanger  What a shame.......it'll do him good to get up nice and early lol x
