First snail night hunt of the year.
15 snails in about 5 minutes
(now
in garden waste bin for Saturday's collection).
And in the pond 3 juvenile and 2
fully grown frogs.

hens should be prescribed for depression; it's impossible to watch either
without smiling.

discovered local snails like living in the gas meter cover, which is on the
ground - easy pickings!

37 snails
caught, 2 stramped on, 3 frogs in pond and at least one scurrying in
undergrowth. It is raining and not very
warm.
