Took
Teddy back to the vets with his scabby baldy bits.
An assistant and I held him while she took
skin, scab and fur samples (plucked out the fur!), then he had another antibiotic
injection and has steroids to take until next week.
Teddy
was totally compliant throughout all this and the only complaint we got out of
him was one half-hearted little growl.
Matilda
would have been squirming, spitting, clawing and swearing like a sailor refused
shore leave.
Henlady
Poor Teddy. It always takes pets a long time to recover
from a period of hardship. I am sure he will be magnificent again when his
spring coat comes in. xx Bobadog is
still on monthly vet trips and is now on fewer medicines at last. Ray has a check-up every two months, but he
seems to have healed ears now- but he still has an earwash from me every four
days.
Woolerwoman Poor little chap. Hope
it gets sorted soon. X
Mrs Banjoman Bless him. Would he
have reacted as well if Fester was in attendance?
Bentonbag Fester never gets involved in taking animals, or children,
to medical appointments. Thunderthighs
actually came with when Matilda was put to sleep; very upset but better to see
the truth than to imagine it.
The Late For a minute I thought you were writing about Fester!
