Produce Conversation On Facebook

Ferretfingers has returned from the day centre with a HUGE marrow, two chunky cucumbers and a considerable number of green tomatoes which he has helped to grow and pick.
If only we had some friends who could supply us with some windfall apples (and/or onions) we could make some chutney.  We're happy to exchange same for blackcurrant, blackberry & rhubarb jam and/or straw-blackberry jam made this year or something from past years' jam/jelly/chutneying.

This is a hint Drummer.

Bazoukiboy, you’re welcome to another slice of marrow and a cucumber.

Miss Fiddle I hope Drummer takes the hint. My trees haven't produced any fruit yet.

Drummerman Benton: we were just talking about you and apples - they're ready far earlier than expected.  The builders have just knocked a big hole in the house, so we should be sociable next week - fancy coming for lunch and a few crates of fruit?

PS was that a euphemism you offered Bazoukiboy?

Miss Fiddle Drummer, Mum and Dad's apples are also well ahead of normal this year.

Drummerman They must have wassailed properly, also๐Ÿ˜Š

Drummerman Have to confess we're short on the windfall onions, though. The pigeons must have eaten them.

Bentonbag Thanks Drummer but every day next week is taken with social worker/college arranging/trip to Aviemore but the middle to end of the week after things look a bit more settled/sorted (God willing)

Bazoukiboy Windfall Euphemism? Possibly caused by hot air from Westminster meeting cold air from Alex Salmond...

Bentonbag More likely fibre from onions meeting gut flora in colon.
