that has improved my life considerably over the past year is the fact that
Thunderthighs now does all his own ironing.

Just
had this conversation with the younger son:
"What
the f*cks happened with my trousers?"
"Nothing,
there's two in the ironing basket."
"Why
haven't you ironed them?"
"Because
I'm your mother not your servant. Why
haven't you ironed them?"
At
which he goes downstairs and puts on unironed jeans.
He's
going on the bus to Stanley today, they'll never notice.
