What The Eye Doesn't See

Facebook post 7 June 2018 at 00:02               So, after birthday tea we're sat with coffee and cake watching Pointless and Fester suddenly says 

"Oh those are nice flowers." 

“Yes, they've done very well.  Bess Cavalier gave them to me.”

"But that was ages ago." 

“Yes, they've been on the mantelpiece since Friday 25^th of May. “

"Oh, I never come up to this end of the room."

Like I say, anything fewer than six legs and he never notices.

I feel I should point out we watch Pointless every evening.

Also I almost always put any flowers in the Toby Jug elephant on the right hand end of mantelpiece:  the eagle-eyed among you will notice its proximity to the television.
