Mum's Verse

Mum would recite this little verse whenever a suitable situation presented itself.

I suspect today is a day when a lot of people might appreciate it.

I’m not sure why I shared it on this day in 2012; probably something to do with that being our own annus horribilis.

A good laugh is a tonic,
Kind words a soothing balm,
Philosophy a lotion
That keeps us cool and calm,
Hard work is a remedy
That cures all lesser pain,
While love is like the sunshine
That strengthens us again.
