Yesterday
I spotted a green dot next to OldestBestFriend’s name on Facebook.
This
indicated that she was active, which is rare, so I immediately attempted to contact
via Facebook Messenger.
We
had quite a long Facetime and discussed a variety of subjects, including our
forthcoming pensioner status.
OBF
is just over ten weeks younger than me so has just put in her application.
As
her birthday is in December she decided to check whether she might be eligible
for the Winter Fuel Allowance.
The
cut-off date of birth is 25 September 1956.
Two
days after my own birthday.
