I’m halfway through putting a different tv, this time with a digibox, in the kitchen so Fester can watch while working.
The spare telly in the wardrobe no longer has a
functioning on/off switch! Sure it was
working when I put it in there or I wouldn't have kept it.
Going to Shields Rd tomorrow to get ten-quid-tv
from charity shop.
Still not sure the
signal will be strong enough that side of the house - and yes we do have a
signal booster.
Operation 'Digital Television into the Kitchen' is a success.
£20 portable from British Heart Foundation on Shields Rd, spare digibox, aerial plus booster plus extra bit of aerial lead taking aerial up onto top of boiler, retune digibox as per instructions.
Himself now has all the channels for when he's using the kitchen as a lab.
He says I'm a genius!
