Fester's comment on Radio 4 Longwave's schedule this morning (Archers, The Reunion, Battle of Britain Thanksgiving Service) 

"Christ - if it's not the f*cking Pope it's the f*cking planes!"

 

Mr Mull I think you'll find that the Pope doesn't f*ck - or at least shouldn't. Not sure planes can either - but I'm no aviation expert.

Continuity announcer "and now on Radio 4 a tender exposition of male bereavement".

Himself "A tender exposition of male bereavement?  A Tender Exposition of Male Bereavement??!!  FOOKIN 'ELL!!!  Have they never heard of Round The Horne?!"
