A
slice of life and a pinch of impudence from Mrs Leftfoot, who took a day or two
to react …

I've been sorting out the boys’
room, putting dead computer and accessories in the garage, and we have scores
of old discs.
Ancient (1990s) Hewlett
Packard computer start ups, CD roms, computer games and music/films/magazines
off the front of the Sunday papers.
Don't have the time or the hwyl to work out which are knackered and
which still work.
Anyone know of
anywhere that recycles them?
Sandy that sort of thing seems popular on Freecycle. If not I
think they do it if you just take to the tip.

Off sharp
to take Fester and pick up a colleague for a meeting at the university farm
with Prof.
Car won't start, flat battery (Ferretfingers put an internal light
on last week),
fuming Fester.
Phone AA.
Phone Taxi.
Phone university farm.
Prof's secretary knows nothing of meeting as
he hadn't told her about it so not in diary, besides which Prof has meetings
all day in town.
Panic over.
Taxi comes and goes.
What a start to a Monday!

Tidying the boys' room? Ironing? Are you all right? Are you having a mid-life crisis?
1. Thunderthighs is too big for the high-sleeper so
he's getting a new bed, so a space has to be created for it.
2. I like ironing - one of the few chores where you
can see the results of you efforts - and you can watch tv and listen to the
radio at the same time and still feel virtuous - and standing up and moving
arms about could be classed as exercise.
3. That's not for me to say.
4. Only if I live to be 108!
Mrs Leftfoot Just checking....... !!! And being cheeky!!! Xx
