Fester went to town this morning and brought me back a bunch of carnations because I've been feeling so low recently.
Give pleasure far longer than chocolate and no calories.
The 2012 preserving season has
begun (late) with 7lb plum and 5lb blackberry jam.
There is now 5lb-blackberry sized space in the
freezer.
Bess Cavalier I've got a large
tub of part made blackberry and pear jam in the freezer waiting to be made up,
but the quince marmalade is done and 9lb of cidered apple jam, as well as 6
litres of fruit vodkas stewing away.

Apparently Mark Hamill, of Star Wars fame, hates eating in Chinese restaurants.
He loves the food but has great difficulty using chopsticks.
Despite trying very hard he often drives himself to distraction until a voice in his mind whispers...
